TeamWalks - From Lunging to Loose Leash Walking!Do you walk your dog or does your dog walk you? Is your dog constantly pulling you around the block? Does he drag you to meet and greet his friends? Do walks seem like a arm/shoulder workout? Are you envious of others who seem to have the perfect walking companion?

Let's face it, being dragged around the neighbourhood is NO FUN. Not for you and not for your dog. In this class, we will teach you and your dog how to go from Lunging Lunatic to Manners Minded Magnificence.
The skills you will learn are great if you want to:
We will introduce you to some great games to increase focus as well as covering loose leash walking, reactivity on leash and calmness protocols on leash.

- calmer loose leash walks in the neighbourhood and outside the competition ring
- more peaceful greetings on leash with dogs and people
- increased focus on leash when you need it

TeamWalks! is offered in our Discoverer (K9 Games, K9 Gymboree, TeamWalks!), Discoverer Day (K9 Games, K9 Gymboree), Explorer (Here I Come!, TeamWalks!, Rally) and Explorer Day (Here I Come!, TeamWalks!). Our other training tracks are Navigator (Here I Come!, K9 Games, Rally), Navigator Day (Here I Come!, K9 Games), Adventurer (Rally, K9 Games, K9 Gymboree) and Navigator Day (Here I Come!, K9 Games).

Meet Our Instructor
Dave Rhodes
Dave started competing in Dog Agility with his first sheltie named Zippy in 2010. He has competed in various organizations here in Canada and the USA. He has competed at both regional and national events. Having worked with many fantastic trainers along with hard work, he has placed on the podium numerous times in various events with his wife’s dog Tissot. He now competes with his dog 7-year-old sheltie Legend in both in the Agility Association of Canada (AAC) and Canine Performance Events (CPE). In 2022, he became a judge in CPE so he not only designs the agility courses for the trials, he also has a front row seat to judge the events.
His passion and love of learning had him start deliver classes at Campaign Dog Academy. It now continues to grow his own programs as DMR Dog Training at Agility World in Acton. He enjoys facilitating dog classes ranging from 10-week-old puppies up to Master level Agility classes. He has seen many of his clients compete successfully in many different agility organizations. What gives him the greatest satisfaction is watching people and their dogs achieve their dreams and goals. Always adapting his feedback to make the possible a reality. Enjoys giving his client the gift of positive feedback!
