AgilityThere's jumps, there's tunnels, there's weave poles, there contact equipment - there's a lot of fun!!
Agility is a great for developing confidence and improving off-leash reliability in your dog. It challenges your dog both physically and mentally ... and we all know, a tired pup is a happy pup! |
We will be offering both Novice and Advanced classes during the session. Novice classes will focus on introducing you and your four-legged friend the basic pieces of agility equipment as well as some handling skills. Advanced classes will challenge handlers with more complex agility courses with the objective of honing their skills.
Agility is offered in our Navigator (Scent Detection, Rally Advanced, Agility), Expeditioner (Rally Novice, Stays and Goes, Agility), Explorer (Agility, TeamWalks!, Scent Detection) and Explorer Day (Agility, TeamWalks!), tracks. Our other training track is Adventurer (Engagement Games, Tricks, TeamWalks!).

Sandra Holland
Sandra has spent her whole life around dogs but it wasn’t until Marley entered into her life that she became passionate about dog sports. The joy of training her dogs (Marley, a 3 year old Boston Terrier, and Havok, a 1 year old sport mix) in agility, flyball and dock diving lead to helping others. Sandra, under the mentorship of Morgan Jarvis, is an instructor in basic obedience and beginner agility at K9 Central. She is currently studying with the Dunbar Academy in canine training and hopes to achieve her canine conditioning certification in 2020.
In 2019, Sandra, Marley and Havok were invited to compete at the Dock Dogs World Championship in Iowa.
