Disc Dog
A new twist on the game of fetch! And yet, it's so much more.
Dogs love to play disc as it taps into their natural instinct to chase moving objects. Dogs learn to track the inflight disc, anticipate flight path and the impact of wind ... all of this makes it challenging and engaging for Fido. Pair this with different types of throws and vaults - it's a great sport to play and watch! |
Does your dog love to chase and catch Frisbees and balls? Does your dog love to learn new tricks? This class is for you. This dog sport weaves the two together and is set to music, making for an entertaining demonstration of Disc Freestyle.
Disc Dog is offered in our Intrepid (Dock Diving!, Tricks, Disc) track. Our other training tracks are Adventurer (Agility, Working Rally, Dock Diving!), Navigator (Working Rally, Dock Diving!, Agility), Expeditioner (Dock Diving!, Scent Detection, Rally), Discoverer (Scent Detection, TeamWalks!, Rally) and Explorer (Rally, TeamWalks!, Tricks).

Cheryl Hart
Cheryl found her passion for training and dog sports through her Doberman, Tyson and hasn't looked back! As a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Trainer at K9 Central, you can find Cheryl instructing Agility, Dock Diving, Basic Manners, Recall, Puppy Kindergarten, Advanced Manners and Puppy Gym.
Cheryl is owned and loved by 7 dogs who all compete in Agility, Dock Diving and Flyball. For fun, they work on tricks, disc and barn hunt! Many of Cheryl's dogs are part of the Woofjocks Canine All Stars team and have competed in the "by invitation only" Dock Dogs World Championships.
