Have you ever tried a product and loved it so much that you just wanted to tell everyone?!?!? Last fall, I was at Woofstock and happened to drop by the NaturPet booth. They are a Canadian company from BC that specializes in all natural remedies. They handed out samples of their Paw Repair. I tried it over the winter on me - not on the dogs! I love it. Unlike some other products, this creme was absorbed immediately. I shared the sample with the pooches. It was great - easy to apply and no more little paw prints on the hardwood floors! I was so impressed, I wrote the company and guess what? They are sending some samples for all our campers!! WOW! What a great company!
Another great company is the Canine Wellness Center. Those of you who have known me for some time, know that Scrumpy has had her share of challenges. Now that she's getting older (she'll be 13 in April, hard to believe!), she's definitely slowed down. I decided to give physio therapy a try to see if she could regain some of the mobility she lost. OMG, I was shocked by what I saw the first session. When she was in the underwater treadmill, I saw in the camera that she simply dragged her front left leg. Yes, much like Quasimodo!! There is good news though ... actually INCREDIBLE news. Visible improvement after 2 treatments. In fact, Scrumpy ran up the hardwood stairs just before our third session. She hasn't climbed the stairs in literally years. With each of our sessions at the Canine Wellness Center and the improvement continues. It really is remarkable - I encourage others to give alternative therapies a try.
