Wow, where does the time go??? So much has happened in the last few months - now's a perfect time to update everyone.
First of all, I'm really excited that Hilda Kelly will joining us this fall. I have taken classes with her at Who's Walking Who and boy, did I learn a lot. She has a very creative style, making learning fun as one size does not fit all when it comes to dog training! Hilda will be instructing our Dealing with Distractions class. I'm sure that those of you enrolled in this will make some major inroads over the weekend and will come home with loads of practical tips and tricks to help you manage whatever situation you're working on.
I've been thinking of our Saturday night social ... I've asked some of the instructors for their input and the theme will be ... drum roll please .... a 50's and 60's night! We'll start the evening off with a sock hop so dust off your blue suede shoes, polish up your saddle shoes and pull out your poodle skirt, we're going to be rockin' around the clock!! Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed dog and handler and the best dancing duo (wonder how you would shape the Mash Potato?). We'll finish the evening with some movies from that era - who can resist watching Elvis or James Dean? If we're lucky, it'll be a perfect night for an outdoor movie night. Kind of like a drive in but without the car!
I've got some other surprises up my sleeve so keep checking the blog for further updates..
